format fat32 in windows xp

Open My Computer
Right click the drive that you want to format
Format FAT32 Windows XP
Select “Format”
From the File System drop down menu select FAT32 (as shown)
Select FAT 32
Leave other settings default.
That’s it your disk is formatted with FAT32 filesystem.
Warning: When you format a drive, you will delete everything on that drive!
